Worship is an incredible thing. It has very little to do with music, it has everything to do with your heart. Hands that are raised should signify hearts that are abandoned. The woman in Mark 14 displays a beautiful picture of what true worship looks like. She brought all she had and broke it at the feet of Jesus. She worshiped Him for who He was, she came to the end of herself and gave it all to the One who alone is able to rescue and restore. May we all follow her example. May God teach us humility and surrender, and may He show us the depth of His love, justice, mercy and grace.
